Midcentury Danish Rosewood Credenza and Hutch Cabinet by Skovby Furniture

A superior design rosewood four-door sideboard/credenza with a hutch display cabinet by Danish manufacturer, Skovby Mobler dating to circa 1970. Each door is veneered with book-matched rosewood, The credenza rests on a recessed plinth base. One door opens up to an interior fitted with felt lined drawers the three other doors open up to shelved interiors. The display cabinet with glass sliding doors rests on two shaped consoles which are unattached to the lower part. Skovby is known for its excellent and well-made furniture and has been in business since 1933. The Skovby label is on the rear of the credenza.
