Cross banded overall with rosewood, boxwood and ebony. The curved D-shape top with stepped superstructure enclosing two columns of small drawers flanked by curved doors, the retractable green leather-lined writing surface flanked on each side by two further drawers above four frieze drawers and further two enclosing the arched knee hole, on square tapering legs with brass caps and castors, all surfaces delicately decorated with hand painted floral motifs.
