Late 18th Century George III Mahogany Knee-Hole Desk with Drawers on Both Sides

This attractive desk features a gilt-tooled black leather writing surface above a central frieze drawer surmounting a beautifully shaped knee-hole drawer flanked by ten short drawers resting on a carved plinth base with casters. The ends with carrying handles and on the opposite side four long graduated drawers.
