19th Century Carved and Polychrome Venetian Crouching Blackamoor with Tabletop

Resting on circular base the crouching young man wearing red embroidered shorts and surrounded by a richly carved Venetian red drapery with gilt accents is holding up a circular tabletop. The carving is astonishing sculptural and detailed. It comes with a later circular marble top to increase the diameter. The measurements relate to the Blackamoor without the marble top.
