Tony Agostini met Gen-Paul, Francis Carco, and Marcel Ayme in Montmartre in 1944 and started painting.Soon he participated in major exhibitions in Paris including at Galerie Charpentier. Since 1947 Agostini did solo shows in important galleries in Europe and the US (New York and San Francisco) His oeuvre is represented in museums in Amsterdam, Ajaccio, Munich and Paris. Works by Agostini have fetched international auction prices in excess of $ 6,300.
