Mid Century Still Life by Stig Wernheden, Swedish 1921-1997

Stig Wernheden was inspired by the cubist movement of the early 20th century which he translated in his own way simplifying form and color in his oeuvre of landscapes and still lives often painted in the mediterranean countries. His works are represented in the National Gallery of Stockholm plus a number of other art museums.
