Exceptional Pair of French Art Deco Lounge Chairs Manner of Maurice Dufrene
Gently restored to their original glory these wonderful lounge chairs or bergeres, attributed to the legendary furniture designer Maurice Dufrene, feature reeded conical legs typical of Dufrene and a narrow gilded frame in an elegant curvature around the body of the chair ending in a small carved scrolls by each front leg. The sides and the back of the chair form a shell-like outer surface embracing the richly upholstered and tufted interior.
