A Royal Copenhagen ‘Flora Danica’ Lidded Cream Cup and Saucer

SOLD.

Often referred to as ‘The World’s Most Expensive Dinnerware’ Flora Danica has been avidly collected ever since it was created as a Royal gift for the Russian Czar in the 18th century. Every piece features a plant within the universal framework of gilt and applied flowers, leaves and stems.

This ensemble of cup, lid and saucer is in great condition, likely from the 1960’s and bears the proper Royal Copenhagen marks on all of the 3 pieces.
