A Petite 18th Century Austrian Baroque Commode

A fine example of Austrian baroque, this particular commode standing on bun feet with three long drawers,  is of unusual ‘petite’ dimensions. The sculptural serpentine front, the intricate walnut marquetry and the decorative ‘dolphin’ brasses add rare qualities to a most desirable piece of period furniture. Circa 1775. W: 40 in. D: 23 in.
